Wanganui Collegiate School offers German students a traditional boarding school education set in a small coastal city. Academic standards are very high, and our examination results are some of the best in the country.
International students board on site, sharing a room with a New Zealander. With three adult caregivers in each boarding house, our pastoral care is second to none offering complete peace of mind for our international parents. We expect English to be spoken in class and the House.
Playing sport is compulsory and we offer musical instrument lessons, speech and drama classes and debating clubs all of which help to develop English. We run an extensive outdoor education programme.
