Woodcroft College is a coeducational, Anglican day School with a strong international focus. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, Woodcroft College offers both the Middle Years Program (MYP) and the Diploma (DP) in the Senior School. Senior School students may also choose the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with its Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathway. The school aims to provide students with an excellent, all-round education in a Christian environment. The curriculum is broad and relevant, aimed at meeting the students' intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs.

School Facilities

The school is set in spacious, landscaped grounds with modern buildings including a Gymnasium and the Mark Porter Hall, extensive playing fields, and courts. Specialist teaching areas are well equipped with up-to-date resources, and information and communications technology. All classrooms are equipped with heating, air-conditioning and AV facilities. Lecture Theatre
Seats up to 100 and is equipped with lectern and AV facilities.

The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a qualification awarded to students who successfully complete their
senior secondary education (Years 11 and 12). Students will be able to study a wide range of subjects and courses such as Ancient Studies, Biology, Business & Enterprise, Chemistry, Community Studies, Design & Technology, Digital Technologies, Drama, English, Food & Hospitality, Languages (German, Italian, Japanese), Mathematics, Modern History, Legal Studies, Physics, Psychology, Scientific Studies, Visual Arts

Music / Performing Arts

Music and Arts are important electives. Students can join choirs, ensembles, the school orchestra and bands. They may also learn a musical instrument. Private instrumental music tuition is available. Instruments include: trumpet, saxophone, cello, keyboard, percussion, piano, flute, clarinet, drums, violin, voice and recorder. The College has several Art & Design rooms equipped to suit the needs of the year level. The Design Room is complete with the latest industry-driven computers and software.

Info: The primary goal of the Woodcroft Outdoor Education Program is to develop the following three qualities in our students:
Perseverance: trying hard, not giving up too soon and becoming more resilient.
Selflessness: regularly acting for the benefit of others rather than self.
Community Spirit: feeling a responsibility for the welfare of society.
Year 10 students take part in mountain bike riding, canoeing, rock climbing, orienteering, environmental restoration and bush skills. Up to 25 students a year are encouraged to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Sheme and Future Leaders Program.

Student Services & Orientation & Counseling: Experienced, trained staff assists with personal counselling and career guidance.
