Our campus theatre and specialist rooms are well equipped for a diverse range of activities – from drama and music to robotics. Your child has the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument and to apply those new skills in one of the school’s many musical groups, which range from singing groups, symphonic band, jazz band, rock band or a chamber music ensemble. The annual college production allows your child to showcase their talents as an actor, singer, musician, or production crew. For primary school children, there is a junior production staged at the end of the school year.
We are committed to offering a world-class education and creating well-rounded individuals who will make positive contributions to society.
We encourage our students to get involved in a wide range of sports, arts and cultural activities during their time at school. The skills they will develop – such as persistence, commitment, and working as part of a team – will be invaluable throughout their lives.
Our facilities support the extensive range of sporting activities on offer. This includes football and rugby fields, an international-standard hockey turf, tennis and netball courts etc.

Info: ACG Strathallan’s school grounds are on Auckland’s Hingaia Peninsula in Karaka. This growing area is on the Southern edge of Auckland city and is a short drive from shopping centres and other city attractions, but retains a more 'rural' feel, with lots of green space and natural scenery.
Specialized Programs: Leadership, Outdoor Education, Trips
Accommodation: Homestay
Info: Homestay accommodation means living in a private household with a New Zealand family. At ACG, we recommend that all students choose to live in a homestay for at least the first three months in New Zealand.
High homestay standards: ACG has a team of accommodation officers and homestay assessors to make sure homestays are safe and suitable for students. Our friendly assessors inspect each home and interview families before students are placed, and visit students under the age of 18 at least three times a year to make sure their experience is positive.
Student Services & Orientation & Counseling:
When a student arrives in New Zealand, they are greeted by a representative holding a sign with their name on it, ready to take them to where they need to go safely and in comfort.
On their first day, support staff will help them organise banking, insurance, bus tickets and anything else they might need assistance with. If they’re booked into a homestay, the host family will show your child how to get to the campus and help them buy tickets for public transport. If the student is moving into a city apartment, staff will show them how to walk to the campus.
There are orientation days held at all of our schools, pathways and vocational colleges. During orientation, students receive a tour of the campus, and a student handbook with relevant information about all aspects of student life
