Rosehill College provides modern classrooms, science and computer labs, a library, and specialist rooms for technology and the arts. Students enjoy excellent sports facilities, including a gymnasium, swimming pool, sports fields, and courts. Music, drama, and cultural spaces further support creativity and student engagement.
Year 10 Curriculum 2026: Students study a broad, balanced program across the New Zealand Curriculum, preparing for Year 11. Compulsory courses include English, Mathematics, Health & PE, Social Studies, and Science. Students also choose six half-year courses from Arts, Languages, Science, Technology, and other areas to explore interests and pathways.
Students follow a broad program preparing for NCEA Level 2. Compulsory courses include English, Science, and one Mathematics option. Students also choose additional year-long or semester courses to explore interests, supported by the Manaakitia Mai program, building skills for future pathways.
Year 12 Courses: Students choose 5 courses from a wide range including Accounting, Art, Sciences, Languages, Technology, PE, and Humanities. Options also include English for ESOL, Literacy & Numeracy support, and enrichment programs, allowing students to tailor their learning to interests and future pathways.

Student wellbeing is central at Rosehill College. We provide an inclusive, nurturing environment where all students feel safe, respected, and valued. Our pastoral care includes guidance counsellors, peer support, and a focus on mental health. Comment Fees: Some practical subjects have charges for materials or workbooks. Outdoor Education: approx. $450–$1,000/year. NCEA exam fees: $383.30/year (Levels 1–3, paid in June). Field trips: costs may apply. Stationery: approx. $100/year. Uniforms: $350–$500 (second-hand available). School camps: costs vary by subject. Textbooks: supplied on loan; replacement fees apply if lost or damaged. Workbooks: approx. $28 each, depending on subjects chosen.
Rosehill College is a digital school and students will require either a Chromebook, laptop, or Tablet for all subjects. Mathematics students are required to use a scientific calculator.
