Info: We run our own high quality homestay program. Families encourage students to participate in real Canadian life and language - all families must speak ONLY English in the home. WE find our families, WE inspect them, WE train them and WE monitor them. Our homestay department stays in close contact with our students through our International Assistants (see below). Students are well supported and can easily report any difficulties they have, and our team is always ready to help them.
Student Services & Orientation & Counseling:
We are proud of our unmatched student support - in addition to supportive teachers and counselors in the schools we have 8 International Assistants (IA's) who are like "personal managers" in constant communication with students, teachers and homestay families. Each International Student is assigned to an IA who will have regular office hours in their school at least 3x / week. Students can always ask for help, as they can also reach the IA's by phone, email, social media.... But the IA's don't wait for the students to come to them, they proactively go and check on the students to make sure that they are going to class, doing their homework, and getting good marks. They can also make sure that students know about the different activities and field trips that we offer.
