Students participating in the North Okanagan-Shuswap International Education program can experience an excellent assortment of academic and elective courses during their stay.
Each school has an active 'Leadership' program that allow students to help plan social activities within the schools. This is a great way for international students to meet and make new friends.
Our school district is located in one of the most popular outdoor adventure locations in Canada. People travel from all over the world to experience our lakes, ski hills, mountain bike trails etc.
In the North Okanagan-Shuswap, students can choose from one of our five high schools. Each of our schools has excellent facilities for science, art, theater, athletics, music providing students with many academic and elective choices. Each school is slightly different from the others, reflecting the interests and needs of their students.
Our schools offer many opportunities to play sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, football, rugby, tennis, golf, mountain biking, and skiing. Not all schools offer all sports. Students who want to play a particular sport should confirm if that sport is offered at the school they are interested in.
